A large adult female found in southern California... I can find lots of info about WHAT they eat & HOW they eat, but now how FREQUENTLY they eat...?

Frequency of feeding in web-building spiders is
highly variable, depending on circumstances. If
a lot of insects fly into the web the spider may feed
on several a day. When it is full fed it may not eat
again for days. If nothing is available it may be able to survive for weeks, in some cases even months, so long as it has water.

Imsure when their hungry as often as they need too, How often do they need to versus how often, e.g. to where they build their net,whats in the area, how often do their nets trap something. How often do they have sex thengo ofor the kill/
How long does the cocoon preserve a prey for eating.
a lot of factor are involved, you could probably do your own research and establish a datatbase for others who have your similar interest
