my brothers girlfriend has decided she no longer loves him. they have a baby of 6 months. he has left the flat for her and the baby to live in

he earns around £230 a week and was going to talk to her about maintanence etc, but she is being a ***** about things and has went to the CSA. without telling him. he will obviously pay for the baby`s upkeep but does anyone know how much the CSA will take from him??

thanks. xx

It sounds to me that she had a contigency plan all along. And that was to find a poor guy to take advantage of and get pregnant. Now she's going to go further by getting child support from a guy she clearlly never planned to be with.

The courts base child support on his income. All he has to do is provide tax information and pay stubs. They will leave him enough to live on and if it's going through the courts he can get a schedule set up for visitation with the child. Since she is not being co-operative with him it may be in his best interest to go through the courts anyway. Once the court has put an amount for child support and scheduled visitations his ex has to abide by it.
