i see no way that this is possible. i cant get it any lower than -6

The way I solved it is to notice that -30 is pretty large compared to the other stuff (5's and 6's) and there is only one negative sign. So I decided -5 must be multiplied by something big. In order for it to be big, either it was the 6 right next to it (but then dividing by 5 kills it) or it is the whole thing to the right of 5 (which it turns out to be).

If you want ALL the parentheses, it's
6 - (5 * ((6/5) + 6))

but if you just want the easiest way (since order of operations is assumed)
6 - 5 * (6/5 + 6)

and just to do the math, it's

6 - 5 * (6/5 + 6) = 6 - 5 * (36/5) = 6 - 36 = -30
