Well im white and not all white ppl are racist if thats what you think! I like to be friends with all people not based on thier race. I think that everyone would like to have a neighborhood that has a good school for their kids no matter what race they are! So you shouldnt judge white ppl like that!!!

We live where we do because of the schools. My neighborhood has all races and religions. A lot of times the good schools are in the more affluent areas where the racial demographic is limited to black and white. Personaly my kids have friends of many different races. Will there ever be a time we can stop the us and them talk?

I think anyone would prefer to live in a neighborhood with better schools irregardless of the "kind" of people that live there.

Regardless of skin color, all parents want the best for their kids and that means living in a safe neighborhood with good schools and smart teachers.

As far as "people of their kind", if everyone believed this, where would this leave diversity. It's diversity that gives life its spice and juice!

That's not a very smart question. We aren't stepford people. Every neighborhood has different types of people. If they are trying to find places that don't have anyone but their race, they need professional help. As for schools I don't know anyone who wants to go to a bad school.

I think that would describe people of pretty much every ethnic group and background. Especially the better schools. The other... not so much.
My granddaughter's Christmas program celebrated "Christmas" but it also included holiday celebrations of other cultures and countries. And there were kids from all different ethnic groups involved. It was great. We can still say Christmas here in Alaska while recognizing and celebrating the special occasions of other cultures and faiths.

I am white but don't care what color attends the local school. All I care about is the quality of education. Typically, the better the school district, the better the conduct of the people who attend and live in the vicinity.

I'm very interested in the quality/reputation of the schools my kids go to, and the neighborhood we live in is a true melting pot. Every color of the rainbow where we live and where they attend school.

better school, yes. People of my kind? what like a neighborhood full of smart-*** stepmoms?
I really could care less about the ethnicity/race of my neighbors. I just like neighbors who dont let their kids run around ding dong ditching, throwing ice cubes at cars and go around hitting each other with baseball bats.
