Berlin. Check flights on www.skyscanner.com. Check accomodation at www.tripadvisor.com and make a package with www.expedia.co.uk. Dirt cheap and a great destination.

London for a weekend and visit the theatre, the shops maybe a museum or art gallery.

try the big chain hotels there are some really deals on right now. almost anywhere in England

Egypt if you want to go abroad, its a fun place.

taba heights or hurghada are very cheap at this time of the year, sharm el shiek el gourna next all are on the red sea go for the best star hotel you can afford about 350-400 for a week

luxor also very cheap thats where all the temples and tombs are and there are some really nice hotels there too again go for the best you can afford.

weather at this time in Egypt beautiful sonesta hotel is fabulous and only about 380 at the right agent. restaurants outside the hotels are numerous and cheap.and theres lots to see and as long as you go with the flow the Egyptians are great fun. and very flattering if you need an ego boost, just dont take them seriously

Paris ( on the train or cheap flight) for a bit of fun Disney yes she will still enjoy it and culture the Louvre and much more

Center Parcs. Can be expensive, but we found that the trick was to take your own bike (or just walk everywhere), take EVERYTHING you might need with you - from washing up liquid to toilet roll to breakfast cereal - and limit yourself on the activities. A midweek break during term time, or weekend during the holidays, can work out quite cheap, especially in winter, it's really peaceful and the pools are just wonderful. And even the most basic (Comfort) villas were nicer than my house.

Barcelona..........excellent city, great for a long weekend.
So much to do and see, and if relaxing is for you two, it is on the coast aswell.
Eating out in the local tapas bars is very cheap. The big restaurants charge a fortune.
A great place to spend some quality time with a loved one.
