Seems to be Bettmans agenda. Read something about the Canadians moving overseas.

It's more likely US-based teams will move to Canada. The US economy continues to falter under the idiocy of the Smirking Chimp pResident, and the US dollar has slumped dramatically. The Canadian dollar and economy are both doing the reverse.

In 2001, it took _eight_ Canadian dollars to buy _five_ US dollars.

Today, it takes _seven_ Canadian dollars to buy _six_ US dollars.

Combine the strong beaverbuck with faltering teams like Pittsburgh and others, plus the salary cap, it's quite possible for cities like Winnipeg and Quebec City to have NHL teams again.

Yes, they are all up amd moving tomorrow. It's all a plot. Bettman's agenda? Seriously, where do you come up with this stuff? Yeah, Montreal you lead the league in attendance--you need to move.

And overseas? What? I see, the Paris Habs it is and the Stockholm Lames, Riyadh Oilers, Rome Senators, Tokyo Canucks and Seoul Make Beliefs.

no more teams in Canada are leaving in fact at the All-Star game i was really surprise and most Canadians where i bet we all watch the All-Star game on (HNIC) on CBC and Ron had a talk with Bettman and Bettman said yes to a new Canadian team cause it would work out with the new salary cap. but you just wonder if he just said that cause he knew he was on a Canadian channel and Ron would of put him in his place.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Wow. If that happens, that soccer riot in Italy will seem like a pleasant day at the beach compared to what Canadians will do to make a riot.

that is bettman's plan....but it would be a bad plan....for one....the american dollar took such a hit in the last 5 years that canadian teams are gaining...and the market is improving in canada. secondly.....many american teams are falling in debt (anyone remember the lockout??) the CBA was created to help those teams out....rumored to be nealry 20 clubs who were in debt. the toronto maple leafs have probably 30% of the hockey fan base ...maybe alone in canada...and most of the fan and media market is in canada. and many northern u.s cities only prosper cause of canadian fans who can travel there.....cities like detroit...new york.....buffalo.....chicago....st.paul(minnesota) .....while teams like carolina ....florida....tampa bay...... atlanta.....nashville.....and anaheim are suffering

if anything ....toronto and montreal will never go anywhere.....too much fan base in those cities.....calgary maybe permanent too....so canada will never go dry

No way, Habs aren't moving to Paris, Leafs aren't moving to London, Sens aren't moving to Rome, Canucks aren't moving to Tokyo, Oilers aren't moving to Mexico city, and the Flames aren't moving to Moscow.

Bettman wouldn't move Canada's teams to Eurpoe, Asia or Mexico, Canada will go berserk if they did and Canada will go Under Martial Law do you want that to happen.

You've misunderstood-the Habs are not going to Europe, the gentleman who owns the Habs is considering buying Liverpool's soccer team to add to his portfolio.
