Stars is just a popularity gimmick to show you like a question and I've noticed people who ASK questions are more likely to award the "best answer" points to whoever stars their question.
As you can see, I refuse to do that. Sorry, but I have my principles and I would only "star" an exceptional question if I saw it.
People are supposed to give stars if they like the question... which is silly since we can't show disapproval! If they're going to make us give "stars" to good questions, they should let us give "moons" (a bare butt symbol) to the "bad" questions!!
AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT!

i exploit stars as a tie breaker in common words. If i am going to't settle on between 2 both sturdy solutions and a million starred me and the different a million did not then maximum cases the starred a million receives the nod. (you should destroy ties someway, properly?)
