Somehow I came back to my computer and my To-Do list and Notepad and Headlines that were docked on the right side of my screen, that little sidebar thing, have disappeared. How do I get them back? I'm sure there's a really easy to way to get them back, because it's not a tough computer question, but I am a dolt about these things. Any new Vista users with any advice? Thanks.

Yeah, but it wasn't the Windows sidebar. It was the Google one, I think, which has different features and is more business-oriented. It has different features, and I want the Google one.

And the tab thing didn't work, because I know what you're talking about, but it didn't show the program. But thank you for that idea anyway.

Hit Alt+Tab. Hold both buttons down a second, then when a little box appears showing which programs you have running, take your finger off Tab while still holding down Alt. You can pick which program you want to go to by hitting Tab again.

(I don't have Windows Vista, but I bet that this feature still works.)

If that doesn't work, try right-clicking on the task bar.

It's also possible somebody came along when you were gone and closed your programs.
