Not by anyone with any sort of intelligence. Teaching a younger grade doesn't mean you have to know less. In many ways, you have to know more. Teaching younger grades is more about the delivery of lessons than it is the actual lessons themselves. All teachers have to know what developmental stages their students are in and how to best teach to that stage of development. It's no easier in a lower grade than it is in a higher one. Neat question. :)

No its called being assigned a different grade. Its done all the time and a professional teacher knows this. Population shifts mean teacher resources are redistributed to where they are needed in the school.

teaching younger is a harder job you must be valued

It does not matter as long as the teacher is appropriate for that grade... exp: gets along better with younger kids than older .

No. wisdom is one, it has no 'youthful' or 'older' differences; only the verbal replace of it may fluctuate. in actuality, achieving out to youthful has extra effective challenge and fulfilment . purely through fact one is shifted to coach youthful isn't any degrading!

In the British education system we call them "years" not "grades" so that joke falls a bit flat here
And wouldn't it be "Regraded"?

Yeah i think you can say that. My mom got switched down too, she used to teach 8th grade, but now is in elementary with 4th graders. :)
