I don't know that Iran will be bombed anytime soon. But the repercussions will be similar to the repercussions if Iran is not bombed. The global conflict between Western and Islamo-fascist values will grow larger and more violent until there is a winner.

An ever more intense hatred of this country in
that part of the world. I was no fan of Saddam
Huessin, but by taking him out we surrendered
the middle-east to Iran. Saddam's Iraq was the
power block to Iran. Without that power block
the United States has to go it alone

It does not matter that 70 senators gave
the president a no confiendce vote in his
running of the war. Cause, the majority of those
senators willingly went along with this president
the first time. You cant tell the fathers and mothers of our service people in Iraq and
Afghanstian (I know I spelled wrong, chuckle if
you must.) that you as representive and
the president made a mistake.

Iran wants a show down with us. If we are going
to make the first strike it has to be at the gas pump. another words, aside from work and
home no extra trips to the mall. No buying suvs, or traveling 300 miles back and forth. Every time
we buy gas at the pump we are investing in
terrorism. We have to find alternate sources for
fuel and destroy the economy of terror.

I don't know if Iran is going to be bombed "soon", but I do know that, politically, Ahmadinejad is weak at the moment as Iranians are tired of his conservativism and disappointed that he hasn't delivered what he promised. A US attack on Iran would be the best thing to happen to him as the country would rally round its leader.

Worse, a seemingly 'successful' attack (in the short term) might be just what George Bush wants to prop up the ratings for his failing, lame duck administration, and distract Americans from the problems that they face, not least in Iraq.

There will be a period of destabilisation followed by further problems in the european-american relationship, and by implication the significance of NATO, America will be tested in her ability to get Iraq into such a situation as allows the Americans to withdraw from Iraq without a power vaccum evolving, I think that is what we want to know, what is the future of Iraq, obviously the US can't stay there forever, what are the repurcusions for the UK, do we join in another war, how much is it going to cost? What happens to petrol prices in the meantime??

The effects of a strike from Israel for example will be minimal. One remembers when Israel launched an identical strike on Iran to counteract nuclear ambitions. Like Wesley Snipes once said " No one fcuks with the Israelis"

The repercussions are that no one will support the lunatic Bush in this. America will have to go it alone and it will confirm that Bush's war is indeed religious...and is directly against Islam.
Iranians are not Arabs. Though I doubt if more than 3 Americans would know that.

American greed and arrogance has reach3d its natural limit...even in the west. After the Iraq WMD fiasco, no one is going to support further lunacy other than the American right wing...but they always have been barking mad!!!!!

I think Europe will start to move towards a central power broking position, and the UK will have no choice but to engage in that process over the next few years. Despite that idiot Blair...we will be shown to be what we really are...Europeans!

Nothing Much Really,

With a Third Aircraft Carrier on its way to the Gulf and another six Airports within range of Iran. The first wave will be Cruise missile attack from submarines in the Gulf and from the air which will destroy Iran's anti aircraft capability. Then the second Wave will B-2 Bombers taking out military targets. Then a sustained bombing over two days will take most of Iran's Military capability. This will attack will come from Three States the USA, Israel and supported by the UK.

Bunker busting and Tactical Nukes will be used.

Iran does not stand a chance. It only only chance is to cause mayhem over the middle east from terrorism.

Judging from the fragile state of Iraq, another Iran-Iraq conflict looks imminent.
