Do you get heavier or lighter when you fart?

Methane (the gas farts are made of) is lighter than air. If you fart, you are getting rid of this gas so does it make you heavier or lighter?

Lighter. Although methane is lighter than air it still has mass (weight) and whilst it's inside you it adds to your overall weight.
