I dont really see any difference between music from the isles. The only difference i can think of are the different types of instruments.

instruments is one thing. There accents as well. Also if you listen to the lyrics it tends to be different. English sing about WOrld War II and a lot of poverty in london. Celts sing about the IRA and the violence of northern ireland. THey are very similar but different in the sounds of the instrument. Celts also tend to be much faster.
