How to build a computer

I once had to do this to get hired and I'll tell you the parts you need and how to put it together. It wont be that detailed though.

You need:

A motherboard
A CD (preferably read-write) drive
A multi card reader
A hard drive
A fan w/ the electrical supplier to computer
2 ( or three depending on how many memory slots there are) 128 MB Stick
A case to put the parts in

Step 1) Now put the mother board in the case first
Step 2) Find a place and connect the power and fan
Step 3) Find a place to put the hard drive and connect it to the motherboard with two wires ( a wide thin one and a small double wire)
Step 4) Connect the CD Drive (Similar wires as the hard drive)
Step 5)Connect the Multi-Card reader
Step 6) Put the memory cards in the slots that are on the mother board
Step 7) Now turn it on

First rule of thumb...don't get parts for your PC because "everyone has them and you need them too". Only get what YOU want and realistically, what YOU need. Otherwise you'll spend a few hundred extra dollars for things for your new system that you won't even use, or notice as for as PC performance.
