Sounds like you have an ulcer. At this point you have multiple problems. For immediate relief get some milk of magnesia to coat the stomach. Before your meals take some hydrochloric acid. During the meal take some enzymes, and acidophiles. Are you having regular bowel movements? If not get your colon flushed out. With your meals drink some tea made from ginger and licorice root.

Sounds to me like you got a stomach bug. If you're taking a bathroom break that often I'm assuming you have diarrhea too which should confirm either a bug or food poisoning, thus the growling and pain. It's likely excess acid caused by the bug or bacteria and best thing to do is just drink to flush it out and eat as little as possible for a day (stuff like soda crackers and plain white rice) and very bland and no milk/dairy for a while till you're recovered.
If it's not a bug, then it's possibly excess acid and maybe even an ulcer so go get checked out.
It could also be that you have IBS, but only a specialist can determine that. Most people with IBS are allergic to wheat and gluten and thats what causes most of their problems.
Colitis by the way, is a serious disease of which there is no known cure. Crohn's disease is another disease of the bowel. Ulcerative colitis is even worse. Nothing will cure any of these.
IBS is in fact an illness, (although all those crappy doctors in the US wouldn't know one disease from another) and you should see a GI specialist to determine what your stomach ailments are. Also everyone carries parasites and bacteria in their bodies, and if you want good bacteria eat lots of yogurt (Activa is good) or take Lacidophillus (sp).
Don't by into a lot of crap people sell you when it comes to meds and pills and herbs etc. Some of them do more harm than good and you are by no means an expert in knowing what these do to your body and how it might interact with other meds.
You are better off going to a nutritionist, which I did for all 3 of my kids so they could learn to eat right, read labels and know what the ingredients mean on them, (sodium, trans fats, etc.) and make sound choices.
My daughter immediately changed her diet and within 3 months lost 20 pounds and is healthier than she has been in a long time.
If you have the H-PYLORI bacteria in your system (a simple blood test will reveal that) it is the primary cause of ulcers and even stomach cancer, so you should aim to rid your body of that through a course of antibiotics and you only need do that once.
Cut out crap...anything that comes in a box or can or is pre-made or comes out of a fast food joint is pure garbage.
Get back to basics and exercise daily and you will soon feel like a million bucks.

okay, first of all if anyone tells you you have IBS they are full of crap! IBS is just a blanket statement every gastro Doctor diagnoses to people whose stomach problems they don't have a clue about! IBS is just a name for a group of symptoms, it's not an actual something. What you're experiencing sounds like Colitis. But even Colitis has a cause and a natural cure. (Not surgery to remove your colon like so many doctors do!) There has to be a cause for these symptoms and usually it is diet related meaning food intolerance (you can go to www.naet.com to find out about a natural treatment for food allergies) or it is parasites, fungus or bacteria, or Candida (yeast overgrowth in the gut.) I would do some research online on Candida and take some questionnaires to see if you might have it. You may have to change your diet for a while. In the meantime, drinking some herbal tea like ginger or something soothing to the stomach like peppermint would help. Taking Oregano Oil will also kill just about anything. But you have to get a good one like Young Living brand. www.youngliving.com. Or you could try a product for parasites called Clarkia a mixture of black walnut, wormwood, and clove extract. Remember, these are issues so many people deal with. Most of us have candida, parasites, and bacteria in our gut because of what's in our food these days and because of poor bowel function. Oh! One more thing, my friend had your same symptoms, basically Colitis, and she read a book called Breaking The Vicious Cycle and followed the diet in it and no longer has diahrrea.

the balance of digestion acids etc are probably out of sync/balance.try taking some digestive enzymes from the health food store when you eat each time,it will probably help.if not then research food combining as well, try probiotics to put the good bacteria back in your digestive tract also.
