All of our laws are moral choices i.e. murder, robbery, rape, etc. What is a good way to decide which ones need to be laws. In my opinion the ones involving injury to other people should certainly be law. Does a drug addict that stays at home while using ever hurt anybody? Does eating something bad for you hurt anyone? If someone enters a smoke filled bar, are they physically able to leave and go to a bar that doesn't allow smoking?

Indeed, there are some areas where our government has no business sticking its nose into. Things that are, or should be personal choices, such as drug use, or prostitution, or even abortion, should not be subject to government meddling.

We didn't decide what moral choices were good law, God did.
We would have no law, without the Lawgiver. The Lawgiver says
He created man in His own image and that the body is the temple of God. God dwells in us and gives us life. So, does a drug addict that stays at home while using ever hurt anybody? the answer is yes - he hurts himself and God does not allow it.
