There are many wives tales about predicting the gender of the baby and this is probably just another one of them. I used some old wives tales to try and predict the gender of this baby before we knew and all the signs showed a girl, but it is yet another boy. Every womans body is different during pregnancy and every pregnancy is different. My first pregnancy and my second pregnancy are very different from each other. The best way to find out the gender is by ultrasound and sometimes even those arent accurate enough. Good luck and I hope you have a healthy baby no matter, boy or girl!

Unfortunately pregnancy has it's own set of rules and they are all different with each pregnancy. Things that normally may not be an issue can be a huge issue during pregnancy. Try using Neutrogena Acne wash on your face or any over the counter acne wash. Prescription stuff may be harmful to the baby. As for the sex of the baby, the only way to tell is the ultrasound which isn't always accurate but it is the most reliable way to tell. There is no way to tell anything about the baby based on your pregnancy "issues". They are all old wives tales. Prepare yourself, you will hear a lot more before you have the baby.

Lol, it's an old wives tale. That's up there with suspending a coin on a string over your belly, carrying the baby high or low, or spreading out in the rear, whether you have heartburn, etc. None of that can tell. It's a hormonal thing you're going through. Don't use alcohol on your face. That's very hard on your skin. When you go to your next doctor's appointment, talk to him and see what you should do. Hopefully this will all pass by your next tri-mester. BTW, congratulations. Be happy.

no it's just an old wives tale. i have two little girls and i am now 29 weeks pregnant with a boy. it is just your hormones causing you to have those bumps on your face. it has nothing to do with the sex of your child. trust me, you don't want to get your hopes up about one gender and then have an ultrasound and be told that you are having the opposite gender. just hope for a healthy baby and pregnancy. every pregnancy is different too so if you end up having another baby in the future and you don't get any bumps on your face that doesn't mean that you will have the opposite of what you already have. old wives tales and gender charts are just for fun. congrats and good luck with your pregnancy and baby!!!

Just an old wives tale. You will hear plenty of them throughout your pregnancy. You should also know that even with an ultrasound the doctor may not be able to tell you what sex the baby is. If they are able to see the sex organs, they may not be right. The only sure fire way of knowing if your baby is a boy or a girl is to give birth to the little angel.

If a mother have lots of black spots on her face and her face looked dull all the time during prgnancy, then it is a sign of 95% a BOY. This is the case of Harmonal disorder. And if you are carrying a boy, the Harmones are excreted heavily to make the Boy's Glands inside you. Have you ever think why a baby-boy is always heavier than a girl. This is because extra-harmonal activities make the Boy big and strong physically. So if you are having those symptoms then it would be 95% sure that you are carrying a Baby Boy. Good Luck to you!

The reactions that you are experiencing on your face, bumps, breakouts, and redness, are not a way to determine the gender of your baby. However, if you are experiencing a great deal of redness on your face, that could be a medical condition that occurs in some woman during pregnancy. You need to have your Dr. examine it and diagnose it properly. The non- medical term is called "mask". It is not serious and will go away. There are different severity's, as to the flare-ups. Do not use alcohol, or any drying agent. Take your Dr.s advice.

They only way to tell for sure is an amniocentesis. You can even have a sonogram and have it be interpreted wrong! The people are telling you Old Wives Tales! Smile and Nod and then get away from them! As for the skin problems get used to to it, I never had acne until I got pregnant, not even a pimple. I had it bad from about 4-5 months till my baby was about 3 months! Good luck!

Never had that happen with any of my pregnancies...I am on number 4 now. First two girls, then a boy and now this one is a girl.
The only difference I could actually note being different, is with my daughters, I have all day sickness not just morning sickness....with my son I had a horribly crabby attitude and with my daughters my weight is spread out around my abdomen as with my son it was like a basketball under my shirt. Good luck and I hope this helps!
