soap flakes just a teaspoon dissolved in hot water about half a washing up bowl or a bit less and a cloth
soap flakes are only about two quid for a big box and are great for cleaning and moisturising leather especially furniture with the soap flakes in a squirty bottle with about half a teaspoon of flakes the rest hot water

Hand wash in the sink using mild soap rinse shape and let air dry.Try to not twist wring or squeeze it Just pat or rub to help keep its shape.

If you think it is color fast, soak it in some detergent for awhile. Rinse it good. Reposition it and allow it to dry. You may want to dunk it in some softener. If it is still stiff, pop it in the dryer for a minute, to soften it. If you don't think it is color fast, take it to the cleaners.

Clean it out. Turn it inside-out, and wash it by hand using a gentle laundry detergent. rinse it thoroughly, then hang it (inside-out) to dry. After several hours, turn it right-side-out again.

Take it to the dry cleaners to be on the safe side. Then if anything goes wrong, it's their fault

use a little carpet shampoo , or what work´s just as good is your own hair shampoo, just rub with a sponge . that should bring it up then dry with your hair dryer , not a joke
