It depends on what you like, but some of my favorites are:
Boys-John, Paul, Matthew, Andrew, Johnathan, Edward, George, Mark, William, David, James, Justin, Joshua, Lee, Luke, all good old fashioned names.
Girls- Margaret, Elizabeth, Louise, Beatrice, Lillian or Lily, Rose, Pearl, Julia, Sharon, Janette, Anne, Elaine, Martha, Marie or Mary,
Leah or Leanne, just a few I really like.

I would go with a long name-like Catherine if it was a girl. Also, I would make sure that the middle name would be an OK name to go with just in case you decide you don't like your son/daughter as the other name. Just choose a name that YOU like and will have lots of possible nicknames.

I like the names Collin and Kara
I think that's my favorite boy and girl name.
I also like Sarah, but it's too common, and I like the name Forrest for a boy, but then you automatically think of Forrest Gump.
