Im starting a pet feed store business,getting sick and tired of pet stores riping me off,im wondering how to get in contact with the companies to be their dealer.

You need to gain refrences to which the companies will use to establish if you're alright to start credit and business with. You will probably end up having to use a credit card to pay upfront until that is established unless you have some longstanding businesses you've dealt with in the past. Then, after you hook up with local distributors of the food you're wanting to carry (because it's very expensive to buy direct and you normally have to buy from direct sources in a huge quantity) a representative will come to your store to assist you in placing your weekly/biweekly/monthly order and show you all of the other products that their company reps for.

The best thing to do is to decide what foods and products you want to carry, call them up and ask who the local distributor is for them. Then call them and establish a relationship.

I would try searching online for each company's contact information, or calling the number on the feed (if there is one) to find out more about buying wholesale, or in bulk.
