im 24 weeks pregnant with 2nd baby i been having braxton hicks about 6 weeks but last few days they are more frequent i say on avergae 10-12 per day they last about 25-30 seconds is this normal at this stage of pregnancy as my other child is nearly 10 and i can't remember last pregnancy very well is anyone else out there about same weeks pregnant as me and gettin these

It's VERY normal in a subsequent pregnancy to have contractions early on. I had real contractions that early with my 2nd and she was 9 days overdue.

Braxton hicks are when your tummy gets Really tight for a few seconds then relaxes. Not when your tummy gets tight and stays that way. But woman get BH's 20 weeks and on in pregnancy

Even though I just had my baby in January I started having them about the same time and I had a lot of them to, all the way up until just before I had my baby. And my doctor said it was normal

Dehydration can bring on B/H contractions, make sure you're drinking plenty of water, and change position to stop them. If they continue see your doc, you do not want to dialate this early on.
