After doing that on MSN to change the personal message, you also need to go into windows media player > tools > plug-ins and tick windows live messenger plugin. If you dont do this it wont show up.

you cant invite people to listen, it just tells others what you are listening to on your windows media player, to enable others to see this you go into your messenger tools and then options and on the personal page click show song information from windows media player, then go to your media player and open tools and plug ins and tick windows live messenger plug in and that is it done, any time you play your windows media player it will show the song in messenger. hope this helps

Hiya Julia.

Right you know where it says just underneath you name
[[enter a peronal message]]

There should be an arrow next to that, clikc that dropdown arrow and it should say
'show what im listening to'

Then when you are listening to music your contacts should be able to see what your listeing to!
