Buy a pineapple, cut off the top (leave all the leafy stuff and get a little of the yellow part) then just set that in some dirt and hopefully it will grow. We've had some that made it and some that didn't so try til it works.

Unless you are in a tropical climate, you would need to grow your plants (as some mentioned-just whack off the top of a pineapple-leave an inch or so of the flesh) and plant in a large pot. Pineapples are bromeliads, NOT TREES as some mentioned. The pineapple plant will grow 3-5 feet high and be about 3 or 4 feet across; makes a large, dark green, and very spiny plant. I had one for years till a freak frost got it. They won't tolerate temps much below 45 or so.

Heated greenhouse only in England, otherwise spend your time growing something else and buy pineapples from the supermarket.

Pineapples are a fruit, and therefore require a tree to produce the fruit. Your going to need alot of space, and time to allow pineapple trees to grow. Not to mention the tropical humitiy that this type of fruit needs to grow properly.
