george washington carver, his discovery that peanuts can be used to create over 300 things revolutionized the agriculture industry, he also found over 100 usue for the sweet potatoe. things which are still used today. discovering peanut butter may not sound like much but it turned nothing into a 300 million dollar industry! and that was back in the 1930s!
