The role of individuals in the creation of wars seems to be pretty large and therefore wars tend to be fairly random. The people of Germany were ready to accept a movement that was defective because they had endured harsh economic conditions. This is true for America also, Germany got Hitler and the US got FDR.
Hitler was showing his colors early, but people were able to ignore this. The same thinking that lets people today feel OK with the US No-Fly list and off shore prison camps and loosing due process in the courts.

Once you get your information,
divide it into categories.
It is best to find the three most important causes.
Your intro summarizes what you will talk about.
Each paragraph should discuss one cause.
Then, you write a conclusion paragraph, summing up the paper.
Yes, it probably does seem like you are saying things over and over again.
Sometimes we can have lots of information and it can be overwhelming.
Sometimes it helps to make an outline and organize your information into these categories.

BTW., it might seem boring at first, but find something that you like or find interesting about it. There are many different facets: social, political, economic, etc.

start with world war one, and the treaty of versailles. then talk about nationalism and expansion in germany, italy and japan. throw in economic troubles all over the world and i'd say you've got yourself a second world war. yahoo!
