i loved it and of course i loved the two gorgeous actors!!! but what about you?

Well i like the movie because it had a different kind of story. Also because the acting was good and didn't have a happy ending. The movie was very good.

I found the beginning of the movie was a "bit slow" almost boring. I did find it very interesting though - especially the "double life" the men led - the fact that their wives knew what was going on..... and showed that even in this type of relationship (between men) there can be problems - often seems to be one person in a relationship who loves the other more. I thought the men were a bit selfish not to have told their wives. Sad ending - because it shows at what length people will go to to try and enforce their standards for living on others.
Not the best movie I have seen, a bit "drawn out" ....I am going to read the book when I have the chance.

I enjoyed it, and so did my friend. I thought it was a nice love story.
I can't get my husband to watch it though, because he's too against the themes of the movie to open his mind to the idea that it would be any good.. Oh well his loss...

sadly, it was a movie about two not very nice people. i can absolutely appreciate the fact that this tale is set in another time and place where intolerance and ignorance were rampant, but ultimately the movie follows the story of two men who couldn't possibly be in love with each other because they can't even love themselves. they lie to the women and children in their lives, they lie to each other and they lie to themselves. i can appreciate the inner turmoil of the characters, having grown up and come out in a similar time and place, but the reailty of these two characters is that they simply aren't very nice people.

It was a good movie, good acting and verything. But, didn't find it spectacular or anything like some people did. I just didn't think it was as great as everyone made it seem. Still good though.

Being from Wyoming, I can't help but laugh at a lot of the content. Most people here roll their eyes at the poor accents and cowboy cliches. Not to mention the scenery! Wyoming is not that green!

I loved it!!!! I wasn't even going to rent it because I thought it would be weird. But it was amazing, I bought it. It makes me cry every time I watch it.
Such an amazing story. Jake Gyllenhaal is amazing and sexy.

havent seen it - dont particularly want 2. i have nothing against gays at all but Jake Gyllenhael and Health Ledger should never kiss - don't no if they even do but cant watch it just in case.
