How do you determine if someone is "old"?

Is it what they are wearing, the grey hair, how they speak...inquiring minds wanna know.

I think someone is old when they have lost their zest for living.

I have met 80-year-olds with more life, joy, and "twinkle" in them than people more than half their age. I have met 20-year-olds who bored the stuffins' out of me because they were so dull and lifeless and way too darned serious.

So, it isn't the years, the wrinkles, or the gray hair. It's the light within the soul.

If they can remember when Television only came in black and white. I recall vividly my father climbing the ladder to put our antenna up. It seemed like such a manly thing to do. We had three channels to choose from, and half the time the screen was blurry. Kids today think that the horizonal hold is a wrestling move, but it was important to keep the picture from flipping. Lunch pails were important. Kids don't have them today. I proudly displayed my Howdy Doody one during lunch. It was part of who we were. If the person can remember test patterns and bomb shelters chances are they weren't born yesterday.

You're ONLY as old as you feel! Sometimes I feel like I'm seventeen and sometimes I feel like I'm 40...it all depends on my Mood. I get carded for cigarettes and beer but I have enough gray hair to pass for someone older...go figure :)

hmmm, as a old over the hill person, its our attitude, we can color our grey, dress like a wanna be 19 year old, ugh-ugh-we've learned to talk the talk , but more important we can also do the walk

And its been that way since I was a teenager.

milf used to be older women over 35 as older and mature but now it's about 23?? if they drink guinness or bitter and say slacks meaning trousers then prob over 50 for men.grey hair for your information is the "new black" so adapt or die

well somone can look old on the outside and still feel young inside..your old when you fall on the ice and break your hip..
