Can I use my PSP memory stick in the MicroSD card slot? I want to put music on my phone but I need to know if I can use my PSP memory card before I go buy a memory card for the phone. If I do have to go buy a memory card what's the best brand/place to get one?

Memory cards are of different sizes and types.

Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick Pro Duo is a media format which is only manufactured and used by SONY.
Like Sony uses memory stick to expand its PSP's memory.

On the other hand LG VX8300 uses Micro SD cards to expand its memory.
MicroSD cards and Memory Stick are different in size and data transfer rates although both have the same purpose storing datas.

You cannot use Yr PSP's memory stick to yr phone's microSD Card slot.

Y can buy various branded microSD card for yr LG Phone.

Some of the best brands are Sandisk or sandisk ultra and Kingston.

Thanks.

have you used that sd card for your psp. if yes and you already have stuff stored on it then you would need a new sd card. but if you have nothing on the sd card then you can use it for your phone
