My brother used to have tons of these come into his trailer. Now he is passed away, so if a ladybug lands on us girls, we say it is our brother saying hello...I don't know why he would be visiting you though...LOL...tell him I said Hi!

What area are you in? What color are the ladybugs? red or yellow. Most likely if your in the colder climate now these ladybugs normally will migrate indoors on warmer days and generally on the South ans SW exposure to the home. They are a nuisance and the yellow or Chinese ladybugs may cause allergies to some folks. Prevention is the key to preventing them from entering structures. Caulk all cracks and crevice, treat a ten foot band around the home prior to migration.

I assume they are the little orange from Asia, not red lady bugs from our childhood? What a nuisance. And, they release an acid on your skin, not a bite, and wow does that hurt. Shop vac them regularly. My cousin bought a house and is still fighting them. The shop vaced them for the first week they were there! You could always call an exterminator but I would just get rid of as many as you can and see if you can get them under control.

We and all our neighbors have ladybugs indoors during the winter months also. I don't really have an answer as to what to do about them. I just put them in my potted plants and wish them well. (-:
They really don't live very long. They'll go outside when the weather gets nice. You could capture them and put them outside, I just can't do that because I know they'll die and I have a soft spot in my heart for lady bugs.

Well I don't really see ladybugs as being a problem, unless you are afraid of bugs. Ladybugs can be very good if you have roses because they eat aphids. Aphids eats roses.

At this time of year they are not lady bugs They are a very bothersome type of beetle. Vacuum them up and wait for the rest to die. The real lady bugs are fast asleep and will appear in a couple of months.
