I've now got a Samsung D900, but I'm keeping my old Orange Pay as you Go SIM card. My previous phone was a Nokia 7250i. I was wondering whether anyone knew how I could save some of the text messages in my 7250i inbox so I can view them on my new phone. I am aware there's a limit of 10-20 texts, but I still want to know how I'd be able to achieve this. Thanks!

When I first put my SIM into the Samsung, I found that 10 of my messages were stored on my SIM and had moved over from the 7250i. I was wondering if anyone knew how they were stored on the SIM in the first place and if there's a way I can store another 10 on the SIM, seeing as I've freed up the SMS Storage on the SIM.

this is a long process that I would suggest
1) activate ur older phn back
2) forward the text messages u'd like to another phn nr if u have a second line or an email address
3) reactivate ur newer phn back and send the messages back to ur inbox and Voi'la :)

I've done it ,works fine exept the time I had to spend to do it ,perhaps u might wanna do it on ur day off .

It automatically saved the first 10 messages then anymore after that gets saved to the phone there should be an option under messages to move where they are saved Hope this helps!!!!
