Is there now, or was there ever Caramel M&M's on the market?

I think a friend of mine is b.s'ing me because she know im an m&M freak. She said that like back in 03 or 04 there were caramel m&m's and that package coloring was black.

Not in the UK, they do have manky rice crispie ones now in a blue packet
