If you are using a tumble dryer, fabric conditioner is just a waste of money, the dryer softens things as well as the conditioner does. If you are drying things naturally, use hair conditioner, if you get a big bottle of the cheap stuff and then dilute it, it is cheaper than fabric conditioner, and works just as well.

Vinegar can be used as a fabric softener, to help deodorize and reduce static cling.

Hi
What a funny Q !
You use goat sh*t of course.
Rub it in and Bob is your Uncle.
Oh, only if you are keeping a goat.
May seem a daft answer, but it works.
It has a certain acidic / corrosive / starchy properties, so be prepared for a small hole in the garment afterwards.
OK, you could try lermon juice, if no goat situation.
Best of,
Bob
