Well so much depends on the relationship you all share. I personally would be majorly ticked off at her for going after your ex BF ( was he your BF for 5 years or has it been 5 years since you were together?)
Technically, he is your ex, and he can date who he wants, and your bestfriend can do the same. If you want to get back together with your BF, let him know, and go from there. You can't hold him in a holding pattern forever - keep him or let him go - or if he doesn't want you - let it go.
As for your 'friend' tell her that you still like the ex (if you do) and that you don't want her sniffing around him.

I am sorry that you are jealous of your best friend. It mgiht be uncomfortable for you to see your friend with your ex, especially when you obviously still have feelings for him.
Maybe you should learn to love yourself as a single woman and stop being angry at everybody

He might actually want to be with her but he's just telling you he isn't interested in her like that. Don't believe everything he tells you... especially if you are sleeping with him still. It didn't work out for you guys so maybe it was meant to be for them to be together. You'll find someone new.

you should be angry with both of them for not respecting how this may make you feel. they both should be more sensitive to your feelings and at least discuss with you first. how much time has past is irrelevant imo.

if she is your best friend and she knows theres still a possibility you might like him...then it really isnt right for her to like him or try to persue anything with him.liking him is one thing but if she tries to do anything with him then you should end that friendship real quick....even though you havent been with him hes still your ex and she should understand that.....

No. He's not your bf, hasn't been your bf for 5 years. You really have no claim to him. Don't ruin your friendship over something so petty.
