why is my browser not showing background colors and changes the text color of websites?

For example on the http://www.msn.com site when it loads the whole background is suppose to be blue and then you can change the background colors if you choose. My browsers both FireFox and Explorer will load the backgroung white and distort the letter colors. Even if I try to change the colors on background it won't show them. This is happening on all sites I log onto!

well in Firefox go to Tools then options then content then hit color and make sure the box that says Allow web site to choose its own colors is selected..... its similar for IE options then there is a color selection in there..... someones played with yer colors a bit If this doesnt help... try going to start then control panel then internet options then in genral there is another color selection there make sure that all looks ok Use windows colors etc.... hope this helps some..... alll else failes you can install over those programs with new versions and it should set it back to default
