Each heart break hurts a little less then the one before. Eventually you will learn to control your feelings a little more because you know the pain of a broken heart and no matter how many times you fall in love and how many times your heart has been broken, it will never ever hurt as bad as the first time.

I wish I had learned this years ago; I believe it's safe to say 99% of people today don't really know what love is. It is defined in Corinthians chapter 13. I got so tired of the feelings of a broken heart and loneliness but could do nothing about. I finally gave my "Love life," up to GOD.

You can't avoid that. But you can teach your brain how to protect your heart when this happens.

Nope, you can harden it,and put all kinds of armour up, but sometimes love still can get through all your best defences.

I've learned that you can't teach your heart anything, it does what it wants. But...I'd rather feel than not feel.....
