If you are white, when you go somewhere like Peckham, Lewisham, Croydon, Bristol, Bracknell, Edgeware etc. and you are the racial minority in your own country, do you feel offended that the government has let it get like this?

No offence to anyone.

It's nothing to do with being white. I'm brown and I'd be scared in those areas - but that would simply be because of the crime rates. 'Offended' isn't the right word 'scared' would be correct.

Why I believe areas always have a high concentration of one group, is because people like to be where someone of their own kind is. Look at the English that have gone to Spain to live, they all group in one area (almost). It's the same thing really.

you're not the racial minority in your country, just maybe in a particular area of the country. i know this is pointing out the obvious but if you narrow an area down enough you could make anyone the minority. i live in a mostly white area, my neighbours are both non-white so you could argue i'm the racial minority if we're just looking at a particular area i.e. the floor in my block.

Why do you think adding "No offence to anyone" lessens the offensiveness of your remarks?

This island has always been ethnically mixed. There is no such thing as Pure British.

"Let it get like this" Excuse me. I didn't know that this was your country. Yes a foolish white man is running it at the moment but you have to accept the fact that there are many people living here besides yourselves! You bought us here so blame yourselves! By the way I hope you know that you probably have offended may people by this question and it is a racist one at that!

I think this rather funny (ha ha funny a la Noel Coward). For so many years so many Brits held themselves superior to us Yanks on racial -- really meaning cultural -- questions. Likewise, many Europeans are just now beginning to understand how a clash of cultures can damage a society.

what makes it 'your own country', out of interest? Why is it 'your' country any more than it is the black people's? I guess you'd say it's yours because you were born here, well so were most of them.
