Here's how to do it:

Go to Yahoo search. Put in Gupta Empire. Check out the articles they list. I usually go to the one from Wikipedia first.

Use the outline given in the box at Wikipedia and click on either History or Decline. It will take you right to that part of the article. You should have enough information from that section to answer your question. If not, click on any blue links given there. If there are no blue links, use backspace to go back to the Yahoo search results page and click on another link that looks like it will give you more information.

Do the same for the Roman Empire. I'd do it second, because there will likely be a lot more on this. If you've already outlined the cultural, economic, and political changes that contributed to Gupta's downfall, you can look for similar or different changes in the Roman Empire, and your paper will almost write itself.
