Well for instance, dust is usually something really tiny. And its constantly in the air. Lets say some goes into your eyes, and you don't realize it. does it stay there? or do your tears push them out?

Tears push them out. I don't think dust is a big factor for eye sight weakness. I think it's more visual effects like TV and etc that make your eyes weak.

you eyes has several ways to filter this world of varies things. Blinking and tears protect your eyes from dust etc. this type dust will never hurt your eyes.
