I'm going through a hard time right now and I need family and freinds support, but I feel like I'm dragging everyone down instead. What do I do?

Thats what friends and family are for. They help you during tuff times. Don't feel like a burden if you need someone there for you because most likely they will need you sometime in the future. For yourself you should find something you enjoy in life and when you are having a hard time go out and have fun. I hope things get better for you.

Why do you feel like you are dragging everyone else down? Family and friends are there to provide you support when you need it. I know what you mean though. Last year was a trying year for me and I went through a lot. I often did not tell others how I felt because it seemed like they would not want to hear it. They are there to listen. However, I am telling you that you can seek support from them, but dont feel sorry for yourself. Take action. Look for what is good in your life everyday and that will get you through. Like, you have been blessed by waking up this morning, you have you right mind, you have the intelligence to use Yahoo Answers, you can breathe, and many other things. Dont let your problems get you down. Trouble dont last always. Good Luck!

For now, your main concern should be and remain to ensure that you make the very best of your opportunities in education. If people do not want to be your friends then it is their loss, not yours. Once you leave school and move on to college, most of the school children you leave behind will get on with their lives completely separately from you and you will have all of your life ahead of you to experience [real] friendship, love and life. Explain to your family how you are feeling and hopefully they will come round to your way of thinking. If not, at least you know where you stand. Never worry about how other people see you or what they think. Their opinions count for nothing. Concentrate on how you feel inside and why that is. Do not ask too much of yourself and never try to be someone that you are not. One day you will meet people who accept you for exactly who you are and that is the way it should be. Do not change to suit others, only to satisfy yourself. Good luck and best wishes x

I'm in the same situation girl, you fake it too don't you? You don't want everyone to think you're the "depressed girl" right? Well screw them, this is between you and yourself, you're the only medicine that can cure matters of the heart. They have to accept that something is bothering you. Don't worry about how they think right now, who CARES what they think. Sure, you can ask them for advice, but in the end, you're the only one who has known the answer all along.

try going out to make new friends or call up some ppl that you have not talk to in a while. Or if u have some cash burning a whole go to a therapist, not for long just to express your feelings and get them out until your hard time is over.

Thats what family and friends are there for, they care about you. But you must work through your problems, not linger in them. get past them. get yourself back to the person they all know and love and things will be fine. Good Luck to you.

If you're there for them when they need you, you shouldn't feel bad about it. Give a little, get a little. If they love you they won't mind.
