I would be the ocean, the source of great life upon the planet.
The sun and the moon would dance upon me and create great beauty, millions of sparkles of blindingly beautiful light. I would be home to magnificent animals of the sea, feel the whales, dolphins and all manner of sealife living within me.
Creatures would come to my shores and their minds would begin to question things. Their imaginations stretch from their everyday concerns, elevating their thoughts. What is over there? If we got on a log and floated where would we end up? How does our food come from this water? Is that the end of the world where the water ends? They would marvel at the heart breaking beauty of the sunsets and sunrises upon my body of waters. I would be a source of mystery, awe, and life to them all. They would also be in awe of my anger, my fierce storms and voracious waves the size of a tsunami.
I would feel the marvel of the mountains pushing to the surface through my body, as islands are created. In all of this I would be content, knowing that I am home to much of the activity on this beautiful planet.

A bird. A strong one at that. So I am never bound to one place, and can explore as much as I want to.

a rock. nothing interesting happens to you and you're likely to get peed on by one animal or an other but you'll still be around long after they're dead. then you can laugh at them.
