EVEN if it's not a very useful thing and would never be used, it DOES still exist.
It is just a way of saying 1 * 10-9 of a minute.
Of course it would make more sense saying (60) * 10^-9 seconds or 60 nanoseconds.
nano means 10^-9 and can be added to ANY unit of measurement to signify this...even a minute which is, of course, a measurement of time

AND to the person down there: a MEGAmile does exist...its just a simpler way of saying 1 million miles smart ***

That would be kind of like going backwards. The smaller time we are talking about we don't talk about the longer period of time.. If we were talking about minutes or seconds, we wouldn't be talking about hours or days..per se`..
