Bush-loyalist so-called conservatives, what was it your ideology stood for again? OOH yes, it was fiscal responsibility, having a limited/small government, and moral values. Why are you too thick-headed to realize that Bush and his cabinet has abandoned all that?
Fiscal Responsibility-Bush NEVER stops to think of better ways to conserve money. He spends "like a liberal" as some put it.
A Limited/Small Government-Bush is the closest U.S. president to becoming a dictator that this nation has ever had. His legislation, which directly conflicts with the Constitution's Habeas Corpus, gives him the right to apprehend anyone and hold them without any soon trial. Citizens can be arrested depending on what they say, despite the 1st Amendment. That is the kind of thing dictators are able to do. You can't deny that. Then with the illegal warrentless wire-tapping; it was meant to be kept secret but fortunately the American people found out. It broke the FISA laws and moreover the 4th Amendment.

Honestly, when it comes to moral values, don't even get me started...
Well let's get into it anyway. Remember Bin Laden? Or maybe Osama Bin Forgotten is a better name for him. When Bush promised to "hunt down those responsible" that included Bin Laden. BUT NOW, he is not even searching for Bin Laden. He says Bin Laden is not really a concern.

Would a moral president just forget about the man who mainly orchestrated 9/11?
Additionally, would a moral president pursue a secret wiretapping program against the American people? Would a moral president deny there being any secret prisons and keep secret from us the fact that we have secret prisons in which torture-interrogation techniques are used?
Let me explain something to you Bush-loyalist faux conservatives. I have talked to TRUE conservatives. And they all HATE Bush. True conservatives are sickened by the sudden mass conversion to repugnant neo-conservatism, and you should be too.

If you are a conservative, can you please explain why you forgive our president and his cabinet for abandoning conservatism?

When President Bush was running for office, yes his ideology was fiscal responsibility, a limited government and promoting morals....then September 11 happened and did any of that matter to ANYONE at the time? Emotions took over our nation and accountability took the front burner. I am a strong staunch conservative but I don't agree with everything our president does or says....if I did, if any of us did then I would have to give some credence or at least some intelligent thought to your accusations. No matter what Bush does or says, or any sitting president for that matter, someone somewhere will find a reason to dislike them and have strong support for their claims. Fortunately we live in a country that is "for the people, by the people and of the people" and we have to have faith that the system does and will work. Bush inherited a huge mess with 9-11 and personally, I wouldn't want anyone else in the White House during such a terrifying time in our history. Perhaps, in the future I will be proven wrong....but for now, during wartime, I will continue to support my president and the troops that are fighting for our freedom and our rights as American citizens. God bless, and I appreciate intellectual debate without name calling.

I keep seeing this question, and all of these reasons why people shouldn't support the President, but it's actually quite simple: they agree with him.
