It makes me ill to think how this war is affecting the children of Iraq. All of the innocent lives that have been lost for what, there is no solution. Saddam is gone and only a fraction of the people are living any better. I witnessed a program on the Military channel that stated the British were using mercenaries, as a matter of fact it filmed them while they worked at night. It was horrible. Destroying all will not work, you simply can not complete it. One of two things will happen:
First, a possibility that a Militia may take control. Second: This is Bible Prophecy happening daily as we speak. Russia & Iran will team up with a few Islamnic Countries & all will attack Israel, then all HELL will break loose. Lebanon, Syria,
Turkey & others will fight against Israel. "The end will come like a flood. War will continue until the end & desolation have been decreed." China will attack Russia, Egypt will attack as
well. Anti-christ will set up in Rome, if he not there already!
In the Book of Daniel 7-12 Chapters, south is Egypt, North is Russia, Iran is Persia, east is China, west is the European Nations. And the beats goes on!

NO!
Do you remember what event started the mid east conflict between Iraq and US?
I don't mean Thousands of years ago, I mean in 2000?
Or don't you believe that the US was attacked?
I find it very interesting how "TIME" warps the memories of the weak!
It is very easy to remember only those facts and events that support your reasoning and logic.
I suggest that we pull out of Iraq, Lebanon and let those people have it. The way we use to let the Viet con have our out post and then level it to the ground. After wards let the non violent people of the land return and thrive.
It is the Oil and wealth of the land that these people are fighting over, not the rights and lives of the people.
Decide if you want the wealth from the Oil to be use for good or evil.
Greed, is not good. Greed, is evil.

Don't know if its the 'real' plan. But its a plan and it works to control strife in the long run.
What else would you suggest to change the religious teaching and mindset of the different sects and the many generations that are involved? You can't without oppression and that's only an esoteric solution. The problem will remain until they confront each other and decide amongst themselves who's right.
If you have a better solution maybe you need to visit there and offer them your advice. Maybe you are the next Prophet.

Contrary to the spin seen on so much of the reporting going on, the largest percentage of killings and injuries of Iraqis are not the result of Iraqi against Iraqi fighting. Why do we go through so much ordnance if we're not shooting and blowing things up?
So, no. I don't think the real Bush strategy is to just let them all kill each other.

Pelosi is only all giddy because Bush praised her at the State of the Union Address. Don't worry, she still hates him, but he hates her more, for being a dumb-***. We have a new aliance in the middle east, and though more time is needed for full security in Iraq, we will have it. If we can change the situation in the middle east, we will have completed something no one in the history of the world has done. Peace like Freedom, is not free. Anything worth having comes at a price. It is just sad that America seems the only one's willing to pay it.
God Bless America.

Bush is trying to seperate the kurds from the rest of Iraq. exactly on the nose when you said divide and conquer. he is hoping he gets away with it just like he supported the minority group the wahabis in saudi arabia. the problem is he didnt predict shiites would join with iran and the sunnis would get the support of other moslem nations to cause a serious mess. right now he is clueless as to who the enemy is: unlike shiite and sunnis- kurds can be both. we have kurds that are shiite and kurds that are sunni. we have men being trained as we speak in the Iraq army WHO WILL EVENTUALLY TURN ON AN AMERICAN. furthermore his bigger plan completely backfired when iran signed away a contract to china for 25 years of petroleum at 100 billion dollars. that contract will not change even if a government is changed in iran.

All politicians sway towards whatever in thier minds is considered most favorable to them in the public eye. There will never be a peaceful solution to Iraq brought by military intervention. The only way to peace in any courntry that has no strong central government won't come about until it is a mental peace shared and accepted by all peoples and all surrounding lands.

I prefer Norma's answer. Everybody wants to blame somebody but the truth be it is all prophesy. If something isn't done soon, the earth as we know it will be destroyed. But I guess that will be a day that the righteous look forward to. A new earth...might be good for a change.
