yes, he saw them in the right way, as a people, with structure,,, not like the savages others did (or claimed they did ),,,, he criticized both the Spanish and the other ones who conquered America,,,,,, and he was accurate, he actually was able to look and see the people, not think of them as barbarians and uncivilized,,,, a large part of being able to be brutal to people is to either believe they are not as human as you, or to convince others of this, so you have support. this was done during the conquest of the Americas, the same as it has been done with slavery
