I don't necessarily think divorce is the only option. However, she would have to be willing to make some serious changes and get some professional help. Her past sexual abuse could easily be affecting her abilities to have a close relationship because that involves trust, and trusting someone could ultimately mean her getting hurt. She may not be intentionally hurting you, but she has to be willing to get help to overcome her past issues. If she is unwilling to get help, then she most likely won't make the needed changes. Also, what if the child isn't yours? Will you still be willing to work it out with her? By the way, you could still have rights as a presumed father in the event of divorce and the if child not yours. You deserve to be treated with respect and be in a relationship where someone is committed the way you are to making it work. Good luck... and I hope the baby is yours! :-)

I'll give the same answer I give the ladies asking about alimony. It is seldom awarded these days, and if awarded, only in marriages of more than 10 years to the stay at home parent spouse.

So I doubt you will get spousal support.

I made 4x to 5x what my ex-wife made, married for 7 years and she got no spousal support. I don't live in GA, but my story is pretty typical.

It is possible b/c she cheated. In NC when I divorced that was something my atty asked me. If i could prove he cheated I could try for alimony but we were only married for like 6 yrs so it was a slim chance with out adultry. You can sue her boss however for alienation of affection. look up the divorce laws for ga and get yourself a good atty.

Sue her for her half of the martial assets in civil court not divorce court ,sue her boss for loss of marriage. and make her and him pay most jury will rule in favor of plaintive.

But remember that civil action cost money cost time and prolongs the hurting, but you can use the LAW to wash in there blood and be victorious watch out for pain because it's always present!
Good Luck

If you do not make enough to live off of... but normally that is only awarded to people who did not work. I doubt you will get it but you can always try.
