it also takes about 5 or 10 mins until i can turn it back on....what up with this...it works great other than that.

It could be the powersupply, but sounds more like your computer is entering thermal protection. I would suspect a bad fan in the powersupply, case, or cpu.

Nothing to worry,It's due to the fact that you have setup the computer like that.Right click on the desktop and go to properties and select screensaver tab and click the power button.See the settings,if anything near Turn off hard disk say 10 min,change it to some more additional time or click never.Same thing for others also,if you know what they are.Since you are saying your computer is working great,this could be the problem.

Most likely the cpu cooling fan has stopped and the cpu is over heating. The BIOS is programmed to monitor the temperature of the cpu. It will shut down the computer if that temperature exceeds a certain limit.

same thing happened to me. It turned out that the hard disk was damaged. You should take your computer to be checked and repaired. It is very $$$$$$$$$.

If you right click on your opening page a box will appear.Click properties you will see a screen that handles all your startup and shutdowns!
