If one of parents have a blood type of AB, it is impossible to have an offspring who has a blood type of O. However, i heard that if the AB is cis - AB, it is possible to have O type baby.
How is this possible, i want some more information..

I hadn't heard of it either, but the idea intrigued me and I did an internet search. This page: http://www.science.ca/askascientist/viewquestion.php?qID=595 seems to have some detailed information about it. Apparently it is true--interesting.

I've never heard of cis-AB blood type. If one of the parents is AB then the child can not possibly be a type o.

cis-AB is something i've never heard about. But I would imagine that it is because the minor alterations in the blood cell's genes would allow it
