i think she was probably embarressed and didn't know what to say. her friends were laughing. it probably scared her. take her off to the side when she's alone and tell her you dont mean to freak her out. and just because you like her it doesn't necessarily mean she hast to like you back. Tell her you just had to tell her and that she should take it as a compliment. and just leave it at that.

Walk up to her some time (in front of her friends) and say "I'm really sorry that I can't go out on a date with you on Friday, but I just don't find you appealing" then walk away (Very quickly, she might get you from behind) and she will feel so embarrassed... Lol, Good luck!! (BTW!! Then tell the teacher to keep you two separate as much as possible, you don't want a scene) Good Luck!

sorry to hear that she freaked out like that. if she's not lesbian or bi, then being hit on by another girl probably made her feel uncomfortable. it's obviously really tough if you don't know someone's sexuality to make a move on them.
try to focus on someone else. i'm sure there are others you can get close to, if not in a romantic or sexual way, at least as friends..

Get over it. It's too bad that happened, but you don't need to worry about someone who does that to you. I mean, sure if she was straight I can see her freaking out, but to me, there's no excuse for THAT kind of reaction. My advice is to not simply move on, but forgive her. If you can't forgive her, you probably won't soon be over it.

maybe you should have told her in private because people tend to react differently alone rather then around their friends.

contrary to todays sociaty most people are straight and dont like queers. you all need to go back into the closet where you came from and stop trying to sush your sick idealogy on to the human race. its still nor will it ever be accepted
