First of all, I'd like to point out that the term 'Oriental' is politically incorrect. I am Asian and my family would not have a problem with me DATING any race. If I chose to marry a Black man, I think it would be a different story. I haven't experienced this firsthand though. From the situations that I've observed, Asian women aren't necessarily disowned. What usually happens is that the families accept it, but don't support the union.

Yes,they are. That's why you'll see few Asian / black couples. And many blacks and Asians don't like each-other anyway. Some Asian parents don't even like it if their daughter goes out with another Asian. Like Japanese don't want their daughter to go out with a Korean...

I have this problem with my family when I was dating one because they don't like black people. I didn't get disowned but they made a big deal about it because I was dating one.

nobody wants to date black people, only themselves, i would go out with asian, mexican or white but not black ewww my hairs on my back stand up with disgust when i think about it
