Bush thinks he is doing the will of God. He believes that God, being all powerful, would prevent him from doing anything that God did not approve of. Therefor, Bush thinks he can just do anything that comes in to his head. He thinks that God will step in to prevent him from doing anything unwise.
Bush is a dangerous lunatic and should be impeached.

Neither I should think. Look, I think his policy is absolutaly wrong, but I do think he cares very much about both what is going on over there, and the consequences of his own actions.
A person can make wrong decisions without being a fool or a villian.
There is no question his administration made some major policy blunders there, but you have to look at the here and now, not the past, and there the question is: If we leave now, does the body count go up or down?
In a way I have to agree with the detractors of Democratic policy on this: The status quo is unnacceptable. If we leave things the way they are, Iraq is only going to get worse. So if you are being morally honest about it, either you are for pulling out, or for adding whatever troops necessary, being for the status quo is a losing proposition period.
There are a number of proposals on the table to deal with the mess. None of them have to do with doing nothing and hoping for the best. So which one or ones do you think might work?

What slaughter? The slaughter by insurgients? It's kind of hard to control those pesky terrorists, but time will bring those murderers under control. The US soldier body count is terrible, on the other hand, and we either need to step up our approach to ridding the regiion of these suicide bombers or get the hell out. Bush needs to come up with a real plan of attack rather than continue on with this PC war tactic of sending in our soldiers with their rifles tied behind their backs. So, I guess in answering your question, he would appear to be empty headed. Conscience? I'm not so sure.

Empty head....but also be careful of what you hear from the news medias. They've been known to not necessarily report the truth...in ANY situation. I know this for a fact....I'm in Iraq now.

False. He is very conscious of the death toll in Iraq and its plain to see its taken a toll on him too. He may not be the greatest president but I refuse to believe he is an uncaring monster.

True. He doesn't seem to care about the body count. See his public speeches, where he refers only in general terms to the number of fallen soldiers.

False.
Until you become the President and have to make the decisions that any President does, you cannot judge.
This means Clinton (either past or potential future) or Bush. Republican or Democrat.
