No ham in the hamburger
And neither pine nor apple in the pineapple.
English muffins were not invented in England.

And a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig....!!!
If writers write, how come fingers don't fing.
If the plural of tooth is teeth
Shouldn't the plural of phone booth be phone beeth?

Man, English is one of the best languages around. It's easy and it has a word for anything. I'm speaking three languages (including English) and in both people use English words, 'cause you can't find a word for many things...

lol, English isn't my first language. But, I love it with all its quirks and all. It isn't the best language around.... but it's one of the easiest to learn... and you can get by even if you know a little bit of English.
